- Where does this take place?
From the comfort of your own house! All my services are virtual – from my home office to your home, provided that you live in one of the following provinces:
- New Brunswick
- Nova Scotia
- Newfoundland and Labrador
This is due to provincial regulations. I am registered in Ontario and some provinces do not allow dietitians to provide virtual services within their borders.
2. Do I have to download anything?
No. There is an app that you can download and use if you want to. However, everything can be done from your internet browser. You’ll need to have decent internet, however, because our meetings will be by video chat.
3. What if something comes up and I have to cancel?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, try to do so as early as possible. This allows the appointment slot to be available for someone else to book. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, I may charge you at $25 cancellation fee.
4. Do I have to pay when I book?
You can choose to either pay when you book or pay later. Either way, you do have to include a credit card to book the appointment. If you choose the “pay later” option, the appointment fee will be charged within 24 hours prior to the appointment. (And the reminder you get 48-hours before the appointment will remind you about this as well.)
5. I’m not sure I’m quite ready yet to book an appointment.
If you’re not ready, that’s perfectly okay. I know not everyone is at the point mentally or physically to make a change, or financially able to see a dietitian privately. If you have access to dietitians through your local family health team or clinic, please do make use of that fabulous resource. You can also sign up for my newsletter to get weekly letters from me.
